Buck Country Outfitters does it better
Non-residents must declare their firearms at the border. Firearms must meet specific criteria, and ammunition quantities are limited. Completing this paperwork is non-problematic. You’ll keep the documents with you throughout your entire hunting trip. See the links below for all of the documents you will need to fill out.
Travel and getting here
We recommend flying into Edmonton, Alberta as there are more direct flights from different cities within the United States. It is possible to fly into Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, as well, but at this time the international flights are limited.
Once you’ve cleared customs at your airport, you’ll be able to rent a vehicle and drive to Goodsoil, Saskatchewan. Buck Country Outfitters is available on any GPS map (Apple and Google) and the directions will bring you right to our doorstep.
What to bring hunting
For your upcoming hunting expedition in Canada, pack essentials like appropriate clothing for varying weather conditions, sturdy boots, a reliable firearm, ammunition, hunting license, and any necessary paperwork for border crossing. Additionally, bring personal items, such as toiletries and medication, and a sense of adventure. Prepare to immerse yourself in the wild with confidence and anticipation.
Taxidermy and processing
We have a meat shop where we process all of the animals. Our team will ensure that your bear or deer is properly processed and dressed for your to either take home or to have sent to the taxidermist. You are able to take home meat if you would like to. Many of our guests bring coolers (if driving), or pay to ship the meat home.

Accomodations
The Lodge has 10 double rooms with 2 Queen beds as well as 2 King Suites. Each room is supplied with linens, contains their own bathroom, has satellite tv and Wifi. Throughout the lodge you will find it to be an elegant but a rustically decorated hunters paradise with a spectacular Great Room where you can unwind from the long days in the stand while enjoying numerous whitetails, moose, caribou, bear and even polar bear mounts by a grand stone fireplace.
